His name, it says, is the name of the village he was born in: "Al Kidva" or "Al Kidova" (rough translation into English), in Morocco.
The article also talks about the author asking the former Moroccan minister of Foreign Affairs, and he says Arafat's father is from that village. Arafat was born in Cairo, but he has Morrocan-Jewish links, as this book says. Arafat's uncle also claims this, and says Arafat changed his name to hide his true identity.
The book is called "Yasser Arafat and the Zionist solution to the conflict in Palestine"
Israeli gov. sources say this is probably "an internal matter in the Arafat family and around it, questioning the legitimacy of Arafat, and whether or not he is Zionist and helping the Israelis, as this book claims."
Lots of funny Israeli comments to this article :)
