Kerry, as he was 34 years ago today. A lot has not changed.

He does not feel there would be a massive slaughter of American, sympathizers once the United States pulled out.

And that was when he actually had military knowledge that wasn't 30+ years old! "Dovish" equals wuss in my book.

His preppiness might make you think he's a blueblood WASP, but Kerry is really a Roman Catholic.

He's still a blueblood.

He certainly doesn't have much in common with the working class Catholics, that's for damn sure.

Kerry said that the United Nations should have control over most of our foreign military operations. "I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations."

And he says the same yet today. Perhaps one may be forgiven for being young and stupid at age 26. But Kerry is now a 60-yr old man -- nominally a responsible adult.

He who would subordinate national security to and subsume American sovereignty in the corrupt cess pool that is the UN is actually running for President. Presumably, so that he may do exactly that.

And he could, in fact, be nominated by one of our national parties.

Astounding...

Bump quote:

Meet the Press, 5/6/01, John Kerry said, "yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I took part in shootings in free fire zones. I conducted harassment and interdiction fire. I used 50 calibre machine guns, which we were granted and ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people. I took part in search and destroy missions, in the burning of villages. All of this is contrary to the laws of warfare, all of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions."

One time Kerry was ordered to destroy a Viet Cong village but disobeyed orders and suggested that the Navy Command simply send in a Psychological Warfare team to be friend the villagers with food, hospital supplies, and better educational facilities...Gollee - I bet that would work with terrorists all over the world....

Some guy name of Davis who is apparently the head of what remains of the VVAW said on TV the other day that Kerry really wasn't with that organization very long - apparently after losing the election mentioned here he devoted his time to VVAW but within a year or two "he saw the chance to go into private practice and maybe run for office, and left pretty quickly" - Kerry has no depth whatsoever......

"When he (Kerry) approached his draft board for permission to study for a year in Paris, the draft board refused and Kerry decided to enlist in the Navy."

Well now, isn't that interesting. I wonder if that little tidbit will be reported?
