Absolutely true! The greatest weapon North Vietnam had during the war was the communist led antiwar protests here at home. They gave the enemy moral support and the strength to continue the war. Not only is the blood of dead American soldiers on Kerry's hand, but because of useful idiots like him, so is the death of millions of south Vietnamese, and millions of Cambodians. They were slaughtered by the communists after we pulled out of Vietnam. What is sad is that close to half this country will probably vote for that pro socialist, anti-military Marxist.

In his 1985 memoir about the war, Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap wrote that if it weren't for organizations like Kerry's Vietnam Veterans Against the War, Hanoi would have surrendered to the U.S.I rather doubt that the General actually suggested that Hanoi "was going to surrender". He may have said that the Anti-War movement was a major factor in the NV victory...that much sounds pretty much like other statements that I have heard from Hanoi apparatchiks.
