I agree with the point that a moon based 'scope could be a better system - especially along side a Moon Base

Hell no. Satellites wear out over time. Hubble's had a good run, but it's oooooold! It'd be cheaper to build and launch a new one.

No, not at this late date. In fact, no, never: Hubble is not a profit-making business. I might bid on Hubble as scrap if I already had a station in orbit.
