Actually, that was a cultural corruption which was NOT of God but that doesn't seem to stop some conservatives here. Please don't cite the Bible to condone polygamy. It was not and is not part of the Divine plan.

You are wrong, polygamy was part of God's plan, and he approved and accepted it at various times throughout the Bible. Please don't foist your private interpretation of the scriptures on the rest of us who know the truth.
