Nope.........as a rock guitarist of over 30 years, I can tell you definitively that there is NOTHING cool about someone plinking a six-string, nylon-stringed acoustic guitar. Nothing.
Guys like him got beat up a lot in school.
Now, if he was plugged in with a seven stringer, detuned, into a Marshall stack...............that might be cool...............
