"If Pedro doesn't pay US sales tax, he needs to take the long way home."

If Pedro filed any tax forms, he's filed them using forged federal documents and should be apprehended, tried, and incarcerated at the maximum lawful penalty for doing "repeat business".

If a US citizen did the same, about seven in a cell (w/parole potential) and a hefty fine would be his reward; yet an Illegalien isn't touched. Some fine justice we have in America....

Having a small part in trying to identify and deal with illegal immigration - I have found that what you say isn't necessarily so. The following is what I have observed.

1. Employers wanting cheap labor or employers not wanting law suits from special interest groups.

2. Goverment entities not interested in who is paying the tax as long as the tax is paid.

3. Special interest groups tieing both hands of employers and government entities.

Force State and Federal taxing entities to make sure that the tax payer identification numbers are valid.

Until there is a database of :"legal aliens", and a cross check that the social security number is valid the employers don't have a chance.
