This audio and tv clip are just more reasons why all of us need to be monthly contributors to Free Republic or regular donors. 99.% of the reality we have read, heard and seen about John F'onda Kerry would have never been read, heard or seen with our left wing mediots controlling the news.
Couldn't agree more. Just emailed a link to all my non-freeper conservative pals. This is going to travel far and wide.

Possibly. Here is the entire paragraph:
I would like to talk to you a little bit about what the result is of the feelings these men carry with them after coming back from Vietnam. The country doesn't know it yet, but it has created a monster, a monster in the form of millions of men who have been taught to deal and to trade in violence, and who are given the chance to die for the biggest nothing in history; men who have returned with a sense of anger and a sense of betrayal which no one has yet grasped.
Since one is used to the phrase "the chance to die for your country" it seems natural to assume he was substituting for that, but I concede he could just mean that it was a "nothing" to fight against brutal communist terrorists.

Also, you die IN a war, not FOR a war. Sounds weird to say you are dying for a war.

Is there any way we can get this on a tape or something, playable at the rally next Saturday? The Vietnam Veterans have a sound permit. (It should be carefully introduced and commented upon afterward, if we use it.)

What we need to do is put everything together. Show the hypocrisy, the lies, the downright treason of the man, the possible war crimes.
We need a file that shows what he is saying during the campaign, and what he said before the campaign. This can cover any subject.
When showing his lies and/or hypocrisy by using HIS OWN WORDS against him it would be important to note where he said it, when he said it, where the transcripts can be found, where the video can be found, where the audio can be found, etc.
Example, John "Liar" Kerry is now saying he never accused American military of atrocities in Vietnam. This one is easy. Just use his own words from 1971, post them under what he said in 2004, with references to the source (Congressional Record, video, etc.).
Sure the hard core left will still try and accuse the right of a smear campaign, but they are going to do that anyway. BUT, by putting out the information in such a way that ANYONE can verify it themselves is a powerful way to get this out.
This stuff would need to be posted on the web, printed out and distributed, published, etc.
Lots of work, but hey, it's worth it.

How can anyone take the man seriously after his fantasy testimony. Listening to the
tape you can tell this is not the voice of a confused young war protester, but of
a mature veteran attempting to deceive Congress and the entire United States
Just speaking for myself, John Forbes Kerry represents that troubling engima:
the man who serves his country honorably in combat and/or military service,
then becomes a political whore that reflects poorly on the military he served in.
And...as we saw with Jimmy Carter, engimas make pretty awful, if not dangerous, Presidents.
