Is the author the same sniveling twit who appears on Fox News Watch? If so, is his (this) book worth reading?

Same guy and it's a great book. Leave it to Liz to twist this for her anti Jewish agenda. Some Jews have some objections to Mel's film. So what? It's a free country. "Passion" will be quite bloody and manipulative via gory scenes. Just my two cents worth

They are one and the same.

Should you read it? I read every book I can get my hands on. There's always something to be learned even if you don't care for the subject matter.

The book's a FANTASTIC read! I read it many years ago, when it first came out and enjoyed it immensely.

Most of the old studio heads were CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS,rabidly pro-American, and pro Christian to boot, though they were Jews. We can thank many of them, for creating, on film, the idealization of the AMERICAN DREAM. Unlike American born, WASP, early owners of and masters of movies, like W.D.Griffith ( who was anti-Semitic, pro the KKK,anti-immigrant, and a racist to boot)and Thomas Edison, who attempted to keep anyone and everyone, not members of his cartel, out of the industry, they didn't persecute anyone and they fought to keep stinking Commies out out!

The Hungarians, such as Zucker, who had belonged to the Petofi Society, in N.Y.C., were, as was the rest of the members of that Hungarian benevolent society, were all for assimilation into and the promotion of America and the ideals of this nation. Which, I can prove, by quoting from the anniversary albums of the Petofi Society and the Young Petofi Society.......as I have the books. :-)
