"We're not taking any position on NAMBLA," said Larry Frankel, legislative director for the ACLU in Pennsylvania.

Either Frankel has no children, no soul, or neither of the two.

you: Either Frankel has no children, no soul, or neither of the two.

Actually, Frankel and the ACLU have taken a stand -- by their silence, they support NAMBLA. And this is not at all surprising.

The fact of the matter is, they're on record as supporting "sexual rights." I think they really can't see why the government should have any say over whether some fat pervert can't have sex with some impressionable kid. After all, saying "no" to this would be "legislating morality."

The ACLU, like so many modern-day libertines, does not believe that ideas such as "right" and "wrong" have any definition other than what political considerations say they should be.

Further, they believe that nothing -- literally nothing -- is more important than a "fundamental right" to sexual expression. If you scratch the surface of almost any leftist discussion of morals, you will find this idea lurking at the bottom. Thus we see it in fashion design, abortion, "mature" TV content, ordination of homosexual clergy, same-sex marriage, and so on.
