You made my point. The ones I've heard about and photo I've seen were not prosecuted.

At the extreme, which is what I initially reacted to in the first post, its an abomination to consider dredging up war crimes and implicating individuals from 30+ years ago for political gain....which is what you would have to do to prove "war crimes" since the public record says there were none or were accounted for and prosceuted.

You'll do just fine with what you have already.

I don't know if that is going to happen. Surely, nothing is beneath the Clinton Crime Consortium. However there are a few reasons why it may not happen.

First and foremost, the left believes there is a contingent that votes GOP who is unhappy with Bush and will "stay home" or vote "third party." If Hillary ran, those people would instantly come back with a passion. Nothing would unite the right like a Hillary candidacy.

Second, I think she won't make a decision until it gets much closer to election time so she can see how the media's campaign against Bush works out. If it looks like it is working, and Bush is appears weak, then she just might run. But if not, she knows her best opportunity is to wait until 2008.

Third, the woman has such strong negatives. People really HATE HER as opposed to their feelings towards Dean (kooky, unstable) Kerry (run of the mill liberal, "war hero.") Average people who are virtually apolitical, hate Hillary. This also works against her, if she wants to run against a successful war time president, especially if Bin Laden shows up in US possession.

I think she will wait until 2008. But, you never know...

My friend and I were talking about how she ran against Rick Lazio.. and how she loves to "NOT ~RUN~ then runs".

Remember her words..and how she laughed how "she wasn't running for Senator of anything" when she was First Lady! (Ughhh now that we have a "First Lady" who *dignifies* the title.. I can't stand to use that title on Hitlery). She stated she had NO intentions of being a Senator! Tell that to Anita Loey (sp) The woman who Hillary stepped in and took over the seat she WAS going to run for!

This way she will NEVER really have to campaign... never have to debate..and never have to answer the HARD questions. NEVER have to RAISE TONS of money to counter President Bush's campaign chest.. it's a BRILLIANT move!

No one has time to REALLY dig up anything on her, to EXPOSE who she REALLY IS, or get her RECORD out there, and yeah, we know there are tons of things.. but the public doesn't! Try to saturate the public in such a short time!! She simply walks in!! BRILLIANT STRATEGY!

NO ONE is prepared. They are REALLY good at this!!

I recommend the seminal book about Fonda's antiwar activities by Henry and Erika Hollzer, "Aid and Comfort" Jane Fonda in North Vietnam. It is a well-documented book with hundreds of footnotes. The Holzers make a compelling case that Fonda should have been tried for treason using legal precedent and the Constitution. The VVAW association is also included.
