February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

"Mansoor Ijaz also stated that OBL is not in them there hills of Pakistan and Afganistan."

==

That's an important little tid-bit. Did he say where he thought Bin Laden was?

How did the person interviewing him respond?

What is this? Are you taking a class in interogation 101?

With all the breaking news this morning and all right at around the same time I imagine the peson interviewing Mansoor Ijaz could barely catch their breath before pounching on the next Fox News alert/Breaking News.

"Wow. I don't recall this. Can you tell me when this was reported?"

I remember seeing it. It was at least a week ago when it was posted on thread 3.

I have to say this, that a week ago, during one of the usual monthly (or is it weekly now?) alerts that are broadcast on tv (Detroit environs), which I usually only half-hear anyway, the announcer tacked this on -- that the warning would be sounded during a nuclear attack, or some such phrasing.

But the word "nuclear" was definitely in it. I was only half-listening, but that word was there for the first time that I've heard it.

Wow, that's freaky. I usually pay attention to these things, and I've never heard them say that. I'll watch for ours and see if I hear anything similar.

Thank you, that doesn't surprise me. I've always heard Tempest explained only in terms of CRT monitors, but I have a ham radio and I can tell you that my PCs splatter RF all over the spectrum. No wonder useful data can be extracted from it.

Thanks for doing all of that research TexKat.

My pleasure Oorang, I'm not done yet, just tired. There are so many players and so many locations. The more you dig the more you find and it is surprising when you can connect some dots.

I know, you made this great thread and thecabal made the great banner logo. I was trying to save bandwidth by combining your well-deserved praises in one post UNLIKE CALPERNIA who -- as we know -- does not consider bandwidth at all!! Remember? ha ha... Blaming Calpernia that night was funny. I hope you remember what I am referring to. Let me know if you do not; I would understand because I think we are 3 threads and thousands of posts since then.
