Yeah, I'm glad that kids get less rebellious and difficult in their teenage years so a firm word is all that is needed.

Unlike when they're, you know, 6 or so.

I hear ya, but I guess it stems from the type of upbringing you had. I strongly believe in discipline because I came from two disciplinarians.

I mean they did not play.

Only one out of seven became a problem, and she became a problem after she flew the coop.

I may not have did this the way this father did, but any discipline carried out by a parent over his or her child, if it is not abuse, makes me stand down. And I'm willing to wager that what this child did won't be done again.


Let the blow fall, I await its coming.
