If true, this is yet another political disaster for the GOP and Bush. Two of the top Repub congressmen are basically siding with John Kerry. Could they not have gotten their ducks in a row before Bush stuck his neck out? what a stupid, stupid party.

Two of the top Repub congressmen are basically siding with John Kerry. Negative. That is not true. They are on opposite sides of the issue. The difference of opinion between Bush and DeLay isn't as to the side of the issue, but as to how to reach the object.

Kerry says he is opposed to gay marriage but is against a constitutional amendment to stop it.
These two top Republican congressmen sound like they agree with Kerry.
