Conservatives in the district, if there are any, need to get rid of Cook immediately and replace him with someone who has a spine.

When Cook apologized he embarrassed not only himself but also gave credence to his tormentors who are societal outlaws.

Mr. Cook, if you can't stand up to a small group of ignorant racists you need to allow someone much more qualified to serve in your stead.

Cook probably said he wanted to address the parents about these absences (costs to the school), & 'latino' parents, knowing they were guilty, immediately played the race card.

If he called latinos 'illegal aliens', that is inappropriate, but I don't think it rises to racism. If he called illegal aliens 'latinos', that is simply the truth. It certainly seems that he was legitimately directing a criticism at the latino community for their actions to support illegals...which is legitimate.>>>>>

I think he probably said he wanted to address the parents that took their kids out of school in protest of the "Illegal Aliens DL Bill" getting canned. Then the guilty 'latino parents' stood up to have their say.

So now, sneaking across the border, or taking your kids out of school in support of those who sneak across the border, are wonderful, noble acts that should be allowed and encouraged. Using the words "illegal aliens" is now a vile, despicable act that should not be allowed.

Yes, but it also has become very expensive, & time consuming. The 'illegal' issues are also *dividing* many of the states, & cities, over foreign ID's, licenses, tuitions, etc.

Funny NO American has the 'right' for a driver's license, yet the illegal community continues to protest that they have this 'right'.

Overcrowding in housing, too. The city where I live passed an ordinance stating that no more than 4 unrelated adults may live in the same house.

I guess they want to nip the problem of 20 illegal aliens moving into the same townhouse right in the bud.
