I can't remember which came first, the incredibly gay sighing debate or the "I'm a deranged alpha male" debate. But put them together, and they made Gore look not only terminally weird, but also like a guy who has to get up every morning and decide what kind of personality he's going to project that day. Neither trait is particularly reassuring in a president. He came across like a robot with a glitch in his behavior software.
