We should be grateful it wasn't upside down, I suppose.

Did anyone get a picture of the flag? Just one more thing on the long list that shows his true stripes.

Hung backward? Like with the blue field with the stars at the side far from the flagpole?

Well, after all, the man is a war hero. doesn't that give him the prerogative to define what's correct?
What a toadsucker.

I was there, and I did try to get a pic of it. I'll know later if it came out. NYC GOP Chick and Cacique had cameras too.
The flag had the union on the right, when it should be on the left. Of course, it would be hung correctly if you were sitting inside the office. And we're not 100% sure that was his office, though it was the correct building.
Anyway, there were certainly a lot of people in attendance, MANY of them Vietnamese. I would have guessed there were at least eight or nine hundred people there, but I'm not good at these thing so 2000 is certainly possible.

It's true... I was there, and I saw it too.

8. When the flag is displayed in a manner other than by being flown from a staff, it should be displayed flat, whether indoors or out. When displayed either horizontally or vertically against a wall, the union should be uppermost and to the flag's own right, that is, to the observer's left. When displayed in a window it should be displayed in the same way, that is with the union or blue field to the left of the observer in the street. When festoons, rosettes or drapings are desired, bunting of blue, white and red should be used, but never the flag.

Hey, he fought in Viet Nam and got himself a handful of medals. How dare you criticize him for anything he does for the rest of his life? ;-)

Too bad there's not a picture of it hanging backwards. That would be worth some news coverage. Fox would pick it up...and Drudge.
