You probably believe the nonsense that "drug use is a victimless crime."

Drug use is victemless activity and should not be a crime at all. On the other hand, the Drug War (and all the related evil laws) is a crime. It has loads of victims and does unbelievable damage. The cost of the Drug War is in excess of $150 billion/year, mostly the lost productivity of all those people in jail who are prevented from working and supporting themselves and their families. There is no dollar rating for the suffering of sick people who cannot get adequate pain killers because their doctors fear arrest. On the other hand, the world's terrorists love the drug war. They make a fortune from it.

Study the matter with an open mind and you cannot help but conclude that the drug war is pure insanity.

You and I will never agree on the drug war. I have personally seen the havoc of drugs in my nephew's life and how he and his wife have victimized society to pay for their failings and brought two children into the world who have been victimized by them.

Drugs are not a victimless crime. Anyone who thinks so has blinders on.
