Check their website, to get more info (they have more stuff on Kerry) and for additional protests. The one in NY was just the first.

And here is the link to his voting record: to cut intel agencies, defense and weapons systems:

The thing Edwards avoids like the plague is the fact that he got all that "stuff" with absolutely NO help from the government at all.

Johnnie boy had help from the judiciary. And now we are all paying the tab for Johnnie everytime we visit a doctor. But I get your point that he didn't need the classic RAT handouts.

I believe in God, but I don't believe, the way President Bush does

What jumped out at me is this phrase "I believe in God but ...".

First, there are no 'butts' when one confesses they believe in God. To add a "butt" after such a confession is weird.

Secondly, I found it strange that he had to state that he believes in God in the first place. He should have started that that was assumed and take off from there. But to say "I believe in God, but ..." sounds like he's trying to convince himself and sounds apologetic. Is he ashamed of the gospel.

Thirdly, he always has to play politics and disagree with everything Bush says or believes in. Here he says he believes in God but not the way Bush does. It comes across as tacky. He better gets some lessons from Clinton or he's toast. Clinton would not have wasted ammo on such a softball pitch and feel compelled to have to disagree with every single thing he opponent said or believed in. Clinton was a strong and savvy enough politician to sometimes say he agreed with his opponent but then find a slicker way of stating his views and make himself look impressive while even agreeing with his opponent. Kerry still attempts high school debate tactics. Perhaps because he has no core views and is just "debating". You know, like one of those obnoxious "debater" types that just want to argue just to argue.

Also, if Bush has said something like that, the dems would be claiming that Bush attacked Kerry's faith.

"He seems to be referring to God as "it"."

I noticed that too. Does anybody ahve a video clip of his answer? It sounds like he was debating with himself whether or not to say he beleives in god. I bet some polls flashed through his head during that moment. The reporters question and then Kerrys answer would be PERFECT for a campaign ad. Reporter says that Bush knows God is on America's side in the War on Terror. Kerry then waffles and says he doesnt htink "it" should be invoked. Then cut to president bush in a relaxed button down shirt saying that God is on our side and that we'll fight the terrorists anywhere they may be.

I believe many on the left "believe" in gaia, which is an 'it'. It would be interesting to see which deity he is referring to.

I'm glad you noticed it, too. :)

What scares me about the ambulance chaser Edwards is that he is only 50. He will be around a while, and that is why he is running now.

I was thinking the same exact thing. Satan believes in God. The Bible is right...you can sure judge people by their fruits.

those of us who've had the great luck to have done pretty well in this country, to pull the ladder up behind us. We want to make it available to more people, no matter where they live, who their family is or what the color of their skin is.
So, let's get rid of the tax cuts, eh, Edwards? [long offensive characterization deleted]

:')

from sometime in 2005:

[some Shrill Shill] Bush manipulated the Democratic primary race in order to ensure an unelectable candidate, John Kerry.

I'm watching BRAVE HEART (for the 2nd time) right now on USA channel. Mel Gibson is absolutely excellent in this film. Next Sunday the same channel will have SPARTACUS. I don't frequent movies much, but I can vouch for these.

The Oscar Awards show does not appeal to me...much about nothing imo.

Charles Krauthammer said that this campaign was only Edwards' audition. I'm afraid that he is correct. However, we here in NC do not think that Edwards wears well. I pray that others will see him as we already do.

I love the ending:

"Do you like Bush?"

"I do!"

My personal opinion is that Edwards is simply burnishing his reputation as a means to enhace his law career. He will return to his former law business and reap millions.

This wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't using taxpayer funding.
