But I think the reporter is putting words in Bush's mouth. God supports free-will and liberty, not the hateful and powermad Islamic clerics. Thats what I though Bush said.

Surely that can't be Kerry's view...he's in favor of the Sodom and Gomorah trend in the US.

I believe the issue is more related to Kerry not being able to identify evil, even naked evil such as terrorism, for what it is.

Sodom and Gomorrah was having a problem with a group of terrorists and mercenaries known as the 5 Kings. They could not put up an adequate defense against them and in the process many Sodomites were enslaved by them. Abraham got involved when Lot was taken by the Kings and battled the Kings to get his nephew back, which he did.

The Sodomites were't very secure militarily and had to be rescued militarily by a very righteous Abraham... who then refused the rewards offered by the Sodomites.

My point is that they were not secure militarily as well as spiritually.
