"Was Roy Moore at all supportive of President Bush?" He didn't say anything negative about the President.
The entire speech was about whether "the state" can acknowlege God, as our forefathers clearly did.
He did show a short clip of Mark Prior, asking Judge Moore if he would continue to acknowlege God, if he were to continue as Chief Justice.
Mr. Moore confirmed that he would. For that terrible crime, he was removed from the bench.

I understand that Judge Moore and Dr. Alan Keyes are teaming up for a series of rallys around the country. If I remember right, there is a big one planned for the Convention Center in Dallas next weekend.

Actually Moore was removed for refusing to obey a federal court order, not for acknowledging God.

It was a good speech.
He did say he thought Pryor was not really a conservative, that he was basically a phony.
I'm still unsure of the whole thing...if it was true that he had an offer to receive Jay Sekulow's help, and didn't, that puzzles me.
On the other hand, though...we DO have a Judeo-Christian heritage, as Judge Moore's banquet speech plainly showed.
I took some pictures, maybe I'll post them.
I also went to Sean Hannity's book-sigining in Portland earlier that day...I'll try to post some pictures.
