Gee, a couple tons of steel propelled by a few hundred horses is dangerous. Who would have ever thought that!

This book was the beginning of the end of personal responsibility in this country.

The early Corvairs were clumsy vehicles because of the poorly designed rear swing axel. GM made them this way to quickly enter the new economy car competition with Ford. The 65-67 were very good cars and rivaled Porche for their handling characteristics.
