Is any of this open to the public? When do WE get to see President Bush?
The entrance to the shrine has just a narrow strip of road in front of it and it the whole block of the Shrine will no doubt be blocked off so that the nuts won't be able to get any where near President Bush.

"At 2 p.m. that day, Bush will make remarks at the 11th Regional White House Conference on Faith-Based and Community Initiatives at the Los Angeles Convention Center. "

Wouldn't the Convention Center be a good place to see him?

President George W. Bush, increasing his visibility as criticism from his Democratic opponents increases, will visit Bakersfield Thursday to tout the economic acccomplishments of his administration. He is scheduled to host a "conversation on the economy" at 9:35 a.m. at Rain for Rent on State Road, according to the White House press office. It is unclear if the event will be open to the public.
The Bakersfield visit is one of three stops the president will make on a swing through California two days after the Super Tuesday primaries that are expected to decide his Democratic opponent for the November general election.
Bush will make similar appearances in Los Angeles earlier in the day and in Santa Clara later, according to the press office.
