After watching the Oscars last night..... I agree. Withdraw the film from that pile of manure. The only thing that will come of it will be further snide comments, open hostility and the fact that the #1 grossing movie of all time is NOT at the Oscar Awards Ceremony will be just juicy dripped irony at its best.

Just think ...... all other films will be asterisked with the "Didn't compete against the 'Passion of Christ'... the number 1 box office hit of all time. It will be like sitting in the living room with the family and a hippo... and everyone trying to carry on a normal conversation without mentioning the hippo....

LOLOLOL!!! It would be like them, given all the other hippos they ignore. I hope he does follow this advice.

But, otoh, I can easily see Mel letting it be entered. After all, who but Hollywood needs to see this movie MORE??

Ooops ... I'm guessing the answer to that are some folks living in a hot, dry climate, near cities known as Mecca and Medina.

I wonder if Mel will be able to pull off getting Arabic subtitles added for the DVD....
