County To Issue Same-Sex Marriage Licenses
PORTLAND, ORE. - It has happened in Massachusetts, San Francisco and now it's happening in Portland. The Multnomah County Clerk's office plans to issue marriage licenses for same-sex couples starting tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at their office located at 501 S.E. Hawthorne.
Taking a look at Oregon's marriage law, it states that marriage is a civil contract entered between males who are at least 17 years old and females who are at least 17 years old.
Notice that the law does not say the marriage has to be between a man and a woman.
Now, hundreds of gay couples in Oregon are expected to take advantage of tomorrow's issuing of same-sex marriage licenses.
So many are expected to show up that the Multnomah County Sheriff's Department plans on having extra deputies out tomorrow to provide security at the clerk's office.

Jesus said: "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore, they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." -from THE BIBLE: Matthew 19:4-6

Oh, its fine.
It will only speed the oncoming culture war, where we slap these people down once and for all. I hope 20 states announce support for Gay Marriage tomorrow. The Senate will get a reawakening when 70% of this nation demands an Amemdment to the Constitution.
Bring it on.

Great question.....why not just let anybody marry any number/sex....as long as they're over the "age limit," there's NO LAW. Disgusting!

Keep dreaming.
Having Gov't issue marriages so homosexuals can "marry" each other is a victory like the knight in Monty Python who kept demanding the other knight keep fighting, even though he was kicking his butt.

Homosexual Agenda Ping - Oregon is practically a socialist state down to the dotted i's and crossed t's.
Stands to reason the loyal leftists there will follow Thug/Clown Mayor Noisome into the abyss.
Carefully note that this statute which supposedly doesn't say one has to be male and one has to be female ALSO DOESN'T SAY that both have to be human (wink wink, nudge nudge).
OK, Oregon Freepers, get up to Portland with your livestock and pets!
(Let me know if anyone wants on/off this ping list!)

It was only at matter of time before it happened in little Moscow-on-the-Willamette. What has happened to my beautiful state? :(
People, not all Oregonians are loony liberals, no matter what the media tries to portray! LOL

I refuse to believe the timing of the same-sex marriage hub-bub throughout the country is accidental...not in an election year when the subject needs to be changed from the record of a presidental wannabe.

Two weeks ago, the liberals were saying Oregon didn't need a consitutional amendment against Gay marraige. They said Oregon's existing law was sufficient. God has given the U.S. up to depravity.
