Kerry me back to ole Massachusetts
That's where the queer and the anti-dopes play
Where seldom is heard
An encouraging word
For the good ole U. S. of A.

Because it was not my lot to serve in Vietnam, I have no qualifications to criticize those who did.

I wonder if Jay Bryant would also say that since he didn't serve in the Gulf war, he has no qualifications to criticize Timothy McVeigh?

I heard just a fragment of a J F'ing K speech last night where he sonorously intoned that the "Republican Attack Machine" was about to go into action. Then he plagerized the President by saying "Bring it On." I'm confused...; who has been on the attack for about three months? Who is it that feels attacked when his voting record is discussed?

I think this is going to be fun.

I know dozens of retired military professionals. None of them support you - there is a reason for that. They all served honorably and well, and they all believe that you did not. I know war heroes, and your, sir, are no war hero.

This should be on the editorial pages of newspapers, at least.

My pithy cousin prefaced this article with the following comments. His perspective (along with other Vets) needs to be broadcast far & wide:

Hello Folks,

I am not a war hero. I DID NOT serve in Viet Nam. But, I did serve in the US Military.

I spent 4 years active duty in the Navy (1955 thru 1959) and 2 more years in the reserves. I do personally know very many military veterans who served honorably in all branches of the US Military.I am still in touch with many of them regularly and some on an almost daily basis.

After our service in the military we all went our own separate ways, raised families and pursued our many various careers. Some claim to be Democrats, some Republicans, some Libertarian and some claim to be Apolitical. All are good, productive citizens of the U.S.

There are some things we all seem to have in common:
We Served faithfully in the US Military and have Honorable Discharges
We have a great love for our country
We have great respect for all our young men and women now serving our country in the military
We have no use for the Hate America (or blame America first) crowd
We know that our enemies will not be defeated by pacifism

We have no respect for those war protestors that give our enemies reason to believe that our country will not have the will and determination to finish our job. Thus giving the enemy encouragement that if they just hold out awhile longer, they will win by our defeating ourselves with a lack of resolve.

Now comes Mr. John Kerry. Every one of my ex-military friends, whom I have communicated with lately, agree that Mr. Kerry is no great patriot and is unfit to serve as our Commander In Chief. The following article does a good job of explaining why. Please read it and form your own opinion.

Vince
