Israel Police Moving to Level III Alert

(IsraelNN.com) Israel Police tomorrow morning will be moving to a level III alert status ahead of the Purim holiday weekend. Police troops working with other security agencies will be deployed strategically around the country as part of the ongoing effort to prevent terror attacks.

A level III status is the highest level below a state of emergency.

(IsraelNN.com) Police have established checkpoints in the northern capital in response to terror warnings. Major delays are reported on the road from Hizme towards the French Hill area of the capital. There are also checkpoints operating in the center of town, also resulting in major delays.

A level III status is the highest level below a state of emergency.

So I guess that's equivalent to our Terror Level "Ernie"?

Such a big emergency, I drove through the capitol and did not notice it.

You know every time they bag some Terrorists, nothing happens for days. I think they all lay low for a while. Perhaps they should try a daily limit.
