Wilson has been a Kerry operative since at least mid-2003. He is one of Kerry's foreign policy advisers and has campaign publicly for Kerry in at least New Hampshire and Washington state.

This book is a new way of campaigning. Bush better get ready with the "British intelligence" and the truth about Wilson's laughable foray into Niger where he just couldn't believe a French mining company would cheat.

BTW, at least one French paper treated him glowingly and called him a "Francophile". Sound familiar?

Ultimately, Bush has to blame himself for this damage: he should never have kept Wilson (or any of the rest of Clinton's cronies).

Do the Republicans really think that, just because Bush didn't clean house, the next Dem president in office won't purge all the Republican appointees the same way that Clinton did?

Birds of a feather.

The French-looking candidate with an affinity for photo-ops and the Francophile father has a Francophile foreign affairs advisor (who does double duty as a publicity hound).

Wilson and Kerry were made for each other. Doubtless, both see themselves as characters in a John LeCarre novel.

Since Hillary's book (or maybe before) the rats have gotten big advances and rich rats buy them up the books by the warehouse full. It's yet another way around their campaign finance "reform" bill. Atleast the liberals get a big cheating A for getting around another so-called law. Yes, this will be looked into - immediately AFTER the election. A partisan rat commisioner will say "Naughty," fine them a whopping $50 bucks, tell them not to "forget" about following the new law next time, and that will be the end of it. /loathing and disgust
