There's an answer for that, too. Hmmm, two of 'em, in the same vehicle? And CCW licenses are over $100 in Texas. Shoot, no problem.
It is for the ones who are illegal aliens. That didn't stop them from doing so then, nor does it stop them now, no more than laws against illegal entry prevented them from coming here.
"We have Nicaragua, soon we will have El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Mexico. One day, tomorrow or five years or fifteen years from now, we're going to take 5 to 10 million Mexicans and they are going into Dallas, into El Paso, into Houston, into New Mexico, into San Diego, and each one will have embedded in his mind the idea of killing ten Americans."--Thomas Borge, Nicaragua Interior Minister as quoted in the Washington Times, March 27, 1985
...Excellent fashion statement.. :)
$140 without special conditions...I just sent in hubby's application yesterday. Then you have to add in $60 - $95 for the class. Hubby opted for the $95 class, as they do your passport photos, fingerprints, notarize the affidavits and assist in filling out the forms...less hassle. It will be worth it though, I have been complaining about him carrying his .45 ACP without it for over a year, finally I just registered him in the class as a Valentine's gift.
It would be SWELL for perps like this one to stumble onto someone who reverses the injury award. This story does remind me of late 1980's New Orleans near Tulane...when 8 folks were killed in a 6 block radius of where I lived(during a 6 week period). I was in college and worked a night job to survive....so learned how to function a .45.....
Nice gift!

That's sweet. I got a replacement for my circa-1970's Second Chance Z-9 Kevlar vest, which I should have retired long ago, but it fits, it's well-worn-in, and I know it works, unlike some of the *as good as Kevlar- and lighter!* fabrics that seem to sometimes work and sometimes not. I've replaced cloth carriers over the years, but the ballistic liner itself has aged enough that it needed to be replaced.
And now it has been. And like a good Valentine's Day present, it came to me with a little red heart taped appropriately on the chest. That might be a thought for you for next year, or for a birthday gift.
