Good for Tran.

There is a large Vietnamese population in Atlanta, and they are quite an asset to the city and state (and country).

I spent most of the 80's as a choir director in a small parish in east San Diego that had a large Vietnamese community. The neighborhood was going downhill, fast. But I felt that the Vietnamese would, in the end, save it. And they did. It's now a serious commercial district.

These people are naturals for the GOP. They are here only because the Democrats betrayed them to their enemies. Had John F**Kerry had his way, they all would either be dead or trapped in "re-education" camps.

Get your act together, gentlemen. There's an election to be won.

...Like VAN TRAN's family, all now Doctors or Dentists excepting himself who fell in love with Politics while at UC Irvine in the 1980's,

...many fleeing Vietnamese-Americans fled to America for the FREEDOM of it.

...Many settled and went to school in Milpitas, California, ..schooled there and then went to work in Silicone Valley fostering the Computer Revolution of the 1980's that was the basis for our Boom Economy of the 1990's..!!

...Attorney VAN TRAN, who came to America at age 10 with his family as Saigon was falling to invading Communist Bullies, secured the Republican Nomination for California's 68th Assembly District...poised to become the highest elected Vietnamese-American Official in U.S. History...the first to be elected to a State Legislature.

God of the earth, the  sky, the sea, Maker of all above, below!
Creation lives and moves in Thee, Thy present life through all doth flow.

We give thee thanks, Thy name  we sing, Almighty Father, heavenly King.
Thy love is the sunshine's glow, Thy life is in  the quickening air;
When lightnings flash and storm-winds blow, There is  Thy power, Thy law is there.

We feel Thy calm  at evening's hour, Thy grandeur in the march of night;
And when Thy morning breaks in power, We hear Thy word, "Let there be light."

It'd be nice if Asian immigrants, who are hated by the Left, would vote conservative in droves.

VAN TRAN's Story of Victory is in today's Los Angeles Times:

'On His Way to a Milestone'

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-tran4mar04,1,7245679.story?coll=la-headlines-california

...Seems I'm still a bit sore from walking those wonderful Precinct Walks in Costa Mesa, VAN TRAN's own Home Town where he went to high school and to church.
His is a most interesting story indeed..!!

...Assembly Candidate VAN TRAN comes across on TV in some ways as focused and direct as the 1960 JFK I remember,

...a Presidential Candidate whose hand I shook on the very day he accepted his Democrat Party's Nomination for President of the United States in Los Angeles, California.

T'is all in GOD's Plan for sure.

AR, I bet that was a big thing at the time...and only bigger with the passage of years.

(be careful, some day a photo of you, JFK and a young Bill Clinton might surface...just joshin'!)
