That's pretty much what happened in CA -- every single statewide elected office was held by a Democrat, until Arnold came along. Of course the only reason we did get Arnold, because they couldn't suppress him in a primary.

These people running around calling themselves conservatives are actually the worst enemies of conservatives, because they destroy the Republican party, -- the only party, which has any chance against the Democrats -- from the inside.

Four years ago, I ended every one of my posts to this crowd, with : THE FRINGERS ARE THE ENEMY WITHIN .I haven't changed my mind about that;if anything, that opinion has been strengthened.

The people who consistently post anti-Bush things here, whether couched in honeyed words,pedagogic pseudo intellectualism, or just outright flamings, are the same...petulant children, dogs in the manger,cut off your nose to spite your face types, who were happy, happy, HAPPY throughout the Clinton years, because the rest of us were miserable too.
