March 5, 2004 -- The Democratic reaction to President Bush's new campaign ads is really appalling ("Bush Evokes 9/11 in Re-election Ads," March 4).
For months now, various Democrats have been accusing the president of felonies up to and including treason, without one iota of evidence to back up any of it. Apparently, they consider this fair political discourse.

I was thinking of doing a 9/11 tribute video (to the tune of Neil Finn's "Turn and Run") for the third anniversary of the towers falling and the Pentagon being attacked. (This, of course, depends on my ability to find the footage I need, get the requisite permission, and negotiate the video-editing software... I'm a TV journalist by training, not a video editor!)
Does this sort of post mean I'll be pilloried for my efforts, should they come to fruition?

Is there a website where we can see if John Rodriguez (Manhattan) is a registered Republican and for how many years?
"RINO"s also supported Al Gore's recount. That one of them voted for McCain in the primary while saying that he favored Albert Gore Junior MORE than any other candidate in history does not make a man a "registered Republican" in any sense other than nominal.
If SeeBS-MTV-Viacom can edit out the boos that Queen Hillary received from the NYPD and NYFD (including the DVD release of the Concert for NYC), then what matter is it for President Bush to "politicize" the WTC? He certainly is not breaking new ground.

Yep. Just like that stupid Direct TV add where the actor reads a letter from the public, then qualifies it with "this is a real letter...truly...no really, it is."

Exactly the type of reaction that was intended.
Good job, and may we have many more that are as effective.

'Rats are our enemies' enablers! As with Mel Gibson's TPOTC though, their aggrieved squeals are only going to succeed in drawing huge attention to ads which would otherwise have vanished into quiet oblivion. Using 'Rats as useful idiots, ingenious and it does stretch the advertising dollars.
