PHOTO of FDR's Campaign Button: "REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR"

I guess it was OK to talk about Pearl Harbor, because FDR was a Democrat.

Where's the documentation for The Tides being connected to MoveOn.org?

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/opinion/s_169770.html), Heinz gives millions to The Tides. Out of those millions, The Tides sent $489,000 to The Iraqi Peace Fund (in just one year, I believe), who then sent money (the amount was not specified in the article) to MoveOn.org. There must be a way of determining that amount, but I don't know it.

The entire purpose of The Tides is simply to launder money from rich donors to organizations that they don't want to officially be affiliated with. Like, say The Ruckus Society, whose official mission is to teach anarchists how to smash property effectively. ("I think you can be destructive, you can use vandalism strategically. It may be violence under the law but I just don't think it's violence." - Ruckus Society director John Sellers)

To me, it sounds like its legal within the asinine CFR framework, but runs seriously afoul of RICO laws (not that liberals are subject to the law.) It's money laundering as well as racketeering and conspiracy to break laws.

Do you have a list of the 8 different agencies. I have a campaign in mind.

Don't have the full list, but here's a partial one from the article:

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/opinion/s_169770.html
The Heinz Endowments have teamed up with a secretive left-wing group

"Nearly $8 million in taxpayer money flowed into the Tides Center in the form of federal grants made by eight different agencies between 1997 and 2001. They include the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Energy."

==

Well, among other things the Peaceful Tomorrows victim organization has a link on their site to moveon.org and other socialist/anti-war peacenik organizations.

http://www.peacefultomorrows.org/links.html

This is what they say about MoveOn:

MoveOn.org - 'MoveOn is working to bring ordinary people back into politics. With a system that today revolves around big money and big media, most citizens are left out. When it becomes clear that our "representatives" don't represent the public, the foundations of democracy are in peril. MoveOn is a catalyst for a new kind of grassroots involvement, supporting busy but concerned citizens in finding their political voice.'

I think this should be turned around against Kerry by pointing out how he would politicize the worst tragedy in this country's history for his own political benefit.

President Bush has every right to show his proven leadership ability that these commercials depict. The reason why these "victims" are so outraged is because they don't want this to happen.

During the last 3 years of the Clinton administration, "offended" quickly became the most overused word of the decade. It's the most overused word of this decade too.

I've got a "bad" feeling. I've been checking for about an hour and haven't come up with anything, but keep your eye out for this name popping up in this mess...RICHARD C. BLUM. Mr. Blum is Diane Fienstien's hubby. He's usually in the middle of these far left doings....World wildlife fund, etc. when he's not doing China's bidding. I was watching the tube after Kerry got the big nod Tuesday night in the primaries walking arm in arm with lady Di. Don't be shocked if he picks her as a running mate.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy reported that the Tides Center had given the Independent Media Center $376,000, ironically, from its "9/11 fund." The Independent Media Center serves as an organizing outpost for protests and was the virtual staging ground for the April 20, 2002, anti-war protest in Washington.

So the Tides Center collected money under the auspices of the grieving after 9/11 then funded anti-war protests with it? Is there no level of despicability beneath which these grotesque people will not sink?

I know all about Hedge Funds Blum.

He may try to distance himself from the financial loser that Kerry would be re the markets.
