Fighting fair only works if you have an honorable opponed who is willing to follow established rules.

This is not a boxing match between two gentlemen where we follow the Marquis of Queensbury rules.

This is a knockdown, drag out, smashmouth, hair pulling, ear biting, eye gouging, bare knuckles with loaded fists, dirty alley fight to the finish. With the left, we have to fight just as dirty as they do.

We have seen what happens to nice guys in the Senate, they are destroyed by nasty partisan attacks from the left and trampled on. It is time to use the left's own dirty tricks against them because I tell you, we are literally battling for the life of this country and the freedom of our children. If not you and I, then who?

Exactly. We impeach a judge. Two, if necessary. That should at least START to quel the others. We have seen what happens to nice guys in the Senate, they are destroyed by nasty partisan attacks from the left and trampled on.

They don't get trampled on for being "nice guys." They get trampled on for succumbing to the Democratic Propaganda Machine (ABCCBSNBCCPBNPRPBSCNN) like wimps and for not invoking the power of law and reason that is on their side.

We are fighting for the Constitution here, not to destroy it like the Liberals want to. There are other ways of cracking down on them. We have the power and the tools. The Party just lacks the spine to use them.

"I am an idea man and worker bee, but I suck at organizing"

Me too. But we are the most important ones. All mass movements have three distinct players: Men of words, fanatics, and practical men of action. Men of words and fanatics abound. We need practical men of action to try to bring the conservative (anti-leftists defenders of western civilization) movement to a point where it can roll back the leftist assault.

For years people have explained why the left sucks and is to be defeated. It is the "how" that eludes us.

BoT,

I think your idea has some merit. NY is a perfect example of a state that is sharply divided.

Many states also present good examples. My home state of Ohio for example is largely conservative, except for the metropolitain areas (which also happen to be the high-tax cesspools of the state); Cleveland, Cinci, Toledo.

I don't see a downside. If metropolitain areas from red states follow suit, I think it will just further show how bankrupt those liberal cities are when forced to survive on their own. Maybe having a lot more stars in the flag is a potential downside.

Its a good and original idea. Personally, I would prefer that the states in question follow the letter of the Constitution, but I think you're right that the WV situation muddies the water.

I would prefer that they follow the Constitution also, but there is absolutley NO WAY that the liberals will give up that much power. You must wrest it from them.
