I saw him standing outside the hotel (about fifty feet away) and called to him, "Hey Carville, good luck with Kerry!" That got his attention and he smiled and waved back.
Bait taken, I followed up with, "North Vietnam Veterans for Kerry." I then asked him, "When is the Democratic Party going to nominate a patriotic American for president?"
He didn't say anything, but from the look of the photo, he was none too pleased.
