The Dems, err, press coin a new phrase for Kerry's

Some aides and close associates say Kerry's fluidity is the mark of an intellectual who grasps the subtleties of issues, inhabits their nuances and revels in the deliberative process. They call him a free thinker who defies stereotypes. Others close to him say his often-public agonizing - over whether to opt out of the system of spending caps and matching money in this campaign, or whether to run against Al Gore four years ago - can be exasperating.

flip flops. The correct term for a liberal flip flop is.............INTELLECTUAL FLUIDITY.

Don't that take all? It's funny to me probably because I'm not bright enough to understand why you can't stand for anything, or everything, or whatever.

He's a waffle. A Belguim waffle, French waffle, whatever.

He's still a waffle.

Read about Kerry's approach to foreign policy and will find a very conventional, status quo Ivy League stick in the mud.

Bush is a forward thinking, risk taking revolutionary compared with Kerry's pseudo intellectual ruminating.

We need a leader, not a politico basking in his own supposed enlightened ability to "see both sides of complex issues".

A couple years ago here in Florida, the Lawton Chiles for Governor campaign was calling senior citizens and flat out lying about what the Republicans were going to do to their Social Security if they were elected.

Called on the carpet for it and made to testify, this one witness refused to call the content made during the phone calls "lies". Instead he insisted on calling them "purposeful misstatements".

The Dims have no shame or honor.

Fluidmaster

Could be apropos. He did have a fire hydrant moved from in front of his place.
(I'd like to know to where the hydrant was relocated)

OTOH, Fluidmaster (in your toilet) serves a useful purpose. If you can enlighten me as to what useful purpose Kerry serves, then I might agree with you.

Anyone who is not clear on who he is, what he stands for or what needs to be done is not a leader. Beyond that, nobody should vote for anyone who spends $150 for a hair cut. If he doesn't have enough sense to find a better deal than that, he doesn't have enough sense to run a country.

When any Democrat runs for the Presidency, the press must, at some point, be prepared to say the guy is almost too smart to be President. To the best of my knowledge, this started when Adlai Stephenson was first hammered by Dwight Eisenhauer.

Republicans, on the other hand, require help tying their shoes. I think that may have also started in 1952.
