"...sorry for asking questions when I could have just drank the kool aide."

No shame in asking questions, but it didn't seem like you were really listening to folks' answers. Yes, proponents of Communism in America are Enemies of those who wish to live FRee. That doesn't mean these communists shouldn't have the right to assemble or nominate candidates for higher office, but they are still foes to be defeated in the arena of ideas. And when these folks are financed and organized by non-Americans, their existence is even more insidious, imho.

Thanx for a serious comment. I believe there were court cases in the 60s and 70s, that gave americans the right to join the american communist party. I think the key was that the party did not advocate the violent overthrow of the US government. That is the language I remember from that time period.

I asked one guy a serious question for which I did not know the answer. Was and is the military precluded from registering for Communist Party USA?

And the original question, what policy is the coast guard violating and what's up with this group.

Doug answered the first part of the last question and all I have received on the others is flames and being called a college student with a Volvo (lol!), and litle or no info (PS I think that reply was addressed to you). But I'm supposed to cheer everyone on while they call this guys co.
