Many black Democrats, who were a minority in the audience, were seated so that they formed a backdrop for TV cameras focused on Kerry.

Funny how its OK to the liberals that Kerry exploits blacks by using them as mere stage props.

They moved ONLY the black parishoners to be behind him for the photo-op. White people were not invited. The decision was based only on skin color. This is going to break today on talk radio.

He said seniors 55-64 years old would be allowed to buy into Medicare early under a plan which would be funded, in part, by rolling back Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy.

It seems to me that if someone has the financial means to retire at age 55, then he or she can afford to pay for health insurance, or keep working to the extent necessary to maintain it. Providing health insurance for early retirees just isn't a big priority for me. Frankly, I would say most people who can retire at 55 probably qualify as "wealthy." Here's a newsflash: if you want to retire at 55, but you haven't made provision for health insurance.... then perhaps you should keep working.

As I recall, Clinton was great at this, and then did little for blacks.

John Freakin' Kerry is a fully qualified practitioner of the POLITICS OF FEAR, DIVISION, and HATRED.

This is the very essence and life line of the Democrap Party!

Nasty John the French Undertaker, personally endorsed by Jacques Chirac, is a weapon of mass economic destruction. He'll destroy the troops in Iraq, the War on Terrorism, & the U.S. stock market with all his negative talk and whiny-leftist-liberal sour-puss troop-bashing, Bush-bashing, America-bashing talk & personality.

The last time Kerry was this close to blacks was when he was having his $1,000 shoes shined or passing his domestic servants in the hallway of his mansion. Notice how democrats only go to church when running for president? Then they bash Christians for the next 4 years as bigots, racist, homophobes etc.

Isn't it long past time for the Democrats to select a black as their vice presidential candidate? Why not this year? Rev Al is available. Jesse too.
