FWIW, Ashcroft is not out of the woods. We had a neighbor die a few years ago during a routine gallbladder removal. A stone ended up in her bile duct going back towards her pancreas. Serious stuff.
I'm betting that they open him up, instead of the laproscopic (keyhole) surgery.

That's a shame. They usually try to look at all of that stuff when they are in laproscopically to decide if they need to open you up. What a shame they missed it in your neighbor's case:-(
