Have you ever wondered how far will the far-left Democratic establishment will go to undermine the President and advance the political interests of John Kerry Heinz? Today's recommended reading choices will give you an idea.
First up is a New York Post editorial look at the machinations of Theresa Kerry and company that generated what turns out to be a very unspontaneous burst of outrage from a minority of 9/11 families over the latest campaign ads for George W. Bush. Of course, the mainstream liberal media were more than happy to magnify this "wide public outrage" way out of proportion and attempt to sully the reputation of the President. But according to the New York Post editorialists (and Wall Street Journal ), the outraged families are much less concerned with honoring the memories of their deceased family members and much more concerned with undermining the Bush Presidency: "Leading the rhetorical charge has been an outfit called September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows -- which, the group admits, has only a few dozen members and represents relatives of no more than 1 percent of the 9/11 victims.
More to the point, the group was formed specifically to oppose the entire War on Terror: Not just the campaign against Saddam Hussein, but also the toppling of the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Indeed, the group's leaders traveled to Afghanistan, drawing a detestable moral equivalence between the 9/11 attacks and U.S. bombing of the Taliban and opposing 'violent responses to terrorism.'" So what is the poltical agenda of these defeatist fools who would trample on the memories of their deceased family members to play politics with grave matters of American national security? As the NY Post notes, "They also demanded that Congress set up a $20 million fund to compensate Afghan 'victims' of the U.S. military. And back in January 2003, the group said had it had gotten a 'verbal commitment' to the fund proposal from the junior senator from Massachusetts --John F. Kerry. Little surprise there -- because Peaceful Tomorrows' parent group, the San Francisco-based Tides Foundation, has received millions from foundations controlled by Kerry's heiress wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry."
Oooops! Do you smell a rat here? ........

The following just some of the info re the Heinz Endowment; and there is much more at this address re the Heinz Endowment connections; please read it all!http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/opinion/s_169770.html
The Heinz Endowments have teamed up with a secretive left-wing group What makes the pairing with Tides troubling is that organization's secretive funneling of cash from private foundations -- such as Heinz, the Pew Charitable Trusts and many others -- to extreme left-wing activist groups whose interests include exclusion of humans from both public and private lands, anti-war protests, opposition to free trade, banning of firearms, abolition of the death penalty, unlimited abortion rights, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender advocacy, as well as and environmental extremism.
Friends of Heinz
The Tides Center also manages the Youth Gender Project whose goal is to "empower and support transgender, gender-variant, intersexed and gender-questioning youth and young adults." . . .
Grant recipients also include the Iraq Peace Fund that has so far granted $489,000 to 27 groups to promote anti-war marches and their coverage by the news media, as well as the mission of one of those groups, MoveOn.org, whose purpose is to defeat George W. Bush.
The Ruckus Society, which received over $200,000 in Tides money between 1999 and 2002, was begun in 1995 to train activists in violent protest against biotechnology, globalization and the World Bank. It incited property destruction in the Seattle riots of 1999 and Washington, D.C., the following year. However, Ruckus director John Sellers didn't see the wanton destruction of property as being violent at all. He told Mother Jones magazine, " I make a distinction between violence and destruction of property. Violence to me is against living things. But inanimate objects? I think you can be destructive, you can use vandalism strategically. It may be violence under the law but I just don't think it's violence."
please read all of article; inlcudes info on Alar scare as well; and the Tides connection.
Cannot understand, why this story is 'leaking' rather than than exploding! Even Fox's Brit Hume made it 'lite' by doing only some of this story last night.

Also, start sending e-mails to outfits like CPSI and the various food watchdog groups complaining about the amount of salt in processed foods like ketchup, pickles and steak sauce. Get these leftist idiots to start fighting each other for a change.
Er, is that millions or minions?
