At least we agree one did not come from the other.

Dinosaurs are more like great-uncles than grandfathers, yes. Still, the common ancestor (just before synapsids split off from the rest of the lineage) isn't much farther back.

Okay, so you would probably say about the same thing about humans and chimpanzees, that one is not from the other but related further upstream. So, where did those two chromosomes go? Or did the chimp pick up two we don't have in his "evolution"? We have 46 they have 48.
