This story has been in the press all day and not once was the fact she was a Democratic staffer mentioned in the headline. Five seconds after the press finds out she has a link to a distant relative of a Bush staffer, they can't wait to scream it from the headline. Unbelievable.

you hit the nail on the head, Earl - despite the stronger and more dangerous ties of having been a congressional staffer for a democRAT who until recently was running for President!!!, the liberal press decides to preempt this tie by counterattacking with a republicans-are-sinister connection of their own.

And the tragedy of it is, our pussy, girly-pants congressional republicans are gonna lay down for it, just like they have on memogate, on the filibusters, on hillary's lies about visiting 9-11 families, on the progress in iraq... Gawd, I just realized that i've a slew of other items i could call up to illustrate this point, and just became sick thinking of what weak asses we have representing the conservatives in congress.
