One of the problems with stereotyping and generalizing: She is from prominent Republican connections/family. Her political affiliation has not been revealed (that I've seen), except that she worked for some Democrats. In bio, IIRC, her father ran for Governor of Alaska as a Republican. She is second cousin to Andy Card, Republican.
