what on earth are you talking about? basically britney spears isn't a bad kid, it's what she's been thrown into and all the trappings that go with it. It's unhealthy, all that fame and people worshipping her. For what? She has no talent at all. what the heck is so great about that little girl? It's totally embarrassing. I feel bad for her but she's gotta put on "the really big shew". It would be nice not to see that stupid looking egotistical grinning dummy on every magazine and tabloid in the universe. Unfortunately I think she'll end up like Farrah Fawcett or someone like that. There's no way out. That's why the poor kid tried to marry a boy from her home town. She wants to be a normal person but look what she's facing. If I were britney, I'd take the money and run and stop getting her picture taken.

um, i did not once mention britney's actions. i was talking about the actual subject of the article which was this kid and his obsession with her. and how on earth do you have any idea that "britney spears isn't a bad kid" or that she has been thrown into this, or that she hates all this and just wants a normal life? do you know her?

you seem to be a bit out of touch with today's youth. every kid has heroes. whether they are actors, musicians, soldiers, artist, etc... heroes get kids through some tough times. they serve a purpose. and then, when the child is mature enough, he/she moves on. i could really give a rat's b-tt about britney. but if she stopped this kid from killing himself, what is the big deal?

I don't think she's that bad and some of these kids are just kooks who would get obsessed with a rock if they thought it would make them look cool. If my kid was obsessed like that --- beyond what's normal for a pre-teen infatuation, I would know the kid had some kind of problem and look into it. She's not that powerful --- my kids could care less about her but then I didn't have MTV in the house and they listen to rock.
