The ghost of Neville Chamberlain is haunting Europe, preaching pacifism and appeasement and promising "peace in our time" in the war against terrorism.

This is the frightening apparition that rose out of the wreckage, blood and body parts in the Madrid train station bombing on the eve of Spain's national elections

Actually we owe Neville Chamberlain. If it weren't for him, the failure that is appeasement would have remained abstract. You would always have had to spend a long time debating the folly of it, where now you only have to use his name. If he didn't give us all concrete proof of how appeasement never will work, it could hit us in the future against an enemy who would be harder to beat than the Germans. Can you imagine arguing with anybody against appeasement without him?

I believe Chamberlain is irrelevant. Those who are so pathologically leftist are predisposed to ignore or disbelieve the lesson of Chamberlain. This great lesson of history is right there in front of the eyes, but so many refuse to see. They are so attached to their religion of socialism that they so hate those on the other side that they are willing to be killed en masse just so they don't have to concede their failed ideology.

This struck a chord with me. The parallel with RI (Radical Islam) and a Race named the Borg (Star Trek NG) are quite prevalent. If you stuck a 35mm reflex lens over kerry's left eye, he could join right in with their assimilation into the "one".

If France is hit it will be interesting to watch the French rush to surrender quicker than the Spanish did. The Spanish surrendered in thee days. I predict the French will surrender in three hours.

The question is: Will you fight to defeat the Islamic assault against the Christian West? Much of the "Christian" West is ready to surrender to the Islamic onslaught. I will not surrender to it. I was just wondering if you would, and I also wonder how many of us will truly fight, and how many of us would be willing to pay the ultimate price.
