Does anyone find it odd that these countries have terrorist groups that the govt doesn't care about? " Oh it may have been ETA but they only usually kill 20 or so at a time. Those crazy guys!"

I'm wondering that same thing, Shermy.

evidence that the bombing in spain may have been a joint eta al queada operation, and that the prime minister may have been at least partially correct, right?
isn't eta a part of the basque separatist movement in spain?

To: Southack
"Well, well, well...So the Basques are all upset about U.S. involvement in the Middle East. Isn't that an interesting thing to admit on their part..." Really! What's with that?
That's about as likely as the American Indians protesting Mugabe in Zimbabwe.

But I thought violence was never the answer to any problem. Zapatero and Prodi told us so so it must be true.

He didn't either "cut-n-run!"
Some Pentagon Idiot chose an indefensible place to house them there like sitting ducks!!! He did the only intelligent thing in getting 'em outta there like that.
You see... He liked to delegate, but someone really, really let him down. He didn't squeal and point his finger at 'em like Carter or Clinton would have done.
A huge mistake was made and he corrected it and then had those mistaken people make sure it didn't happen again on his watch!!!

"We wanted to symbolize the war the United States imposed on the Iraqi people," said a spokesman for the group who did not want to be identified. So say the groupees of the deposed dictator.
How about we put Sadaam in charge of the new Basque Repubic for a couple of decades and see how these fellas feel about "war being imposed" to remove him afterward?
Face it. Europeans aren't sophisticated about worldly matters. They're sheltered children.

Not suprised. These scum have been taking Mid east blood money for years just like the IRA and other terrorist orgs.
The connections between jihadis and Left wing terror link quite tightly.

They're real Basques. The Basque language predates the Latin languages, it's more related to India's Sanskrit.
As for the AB, it's the human cannon-fodder for more radical groups like ETA and ETA-M2000. Calling them left-wing is like saying Stalin was a tad authoritarian.
