Who pays for his security?
Is it covered by the taxpayer because he's a senator?

Does the $$$ difference between congressional protection vs. candidacy protection picked up by the Party?

Still, Mr. Kerry could not entirely escape the hazards of the arena he had left behind. He had just sat down for a bite to eat on the crowded patio near the lift line when a waiting skier, John Norris, shouted: "Hey, John! What foreign leaders talked to you?"

I would like to know the answer to that, too! So much for the "man of the people!" Yeah -- he feels your pain, too!

They had a blurb in yesterdays Idaho Statesman about who is paying for his security. Just scanned the article but it looks like they were saying that the federal money wouldn't cover all of his protection so the state was going to have to pick it up....if this is the case...this PISSES me off as a taxpayer here in the lovely state of Idaho...anyone know the rules and regulations concerning this?
