Makes you wonder just how terrible Sodom and Gomorrah must have been. . . .
I'm not ready to give up, but I just wonder what it's going to take to turn America truly back to God . . . or if anything will.
Anyone else ever have the thought that The Passion is one way of spreading the Word "to all nations"?

I've already told Mike that no more dogs are allowed in the bed...I broke them of that while Mike was away...they don't sleep on him, they sleep on me.

I sure will, I'm so excited I cannot sleep, and I have to leave my house at 5am because there are icky barricades along I-4 where they are always repairing or reconstucting. I will take three gotu kola capsules, and that should give me the stamina to get through the hectic day.

I'm sure he does something, but imposing himself (and the media would spin it 60 ways to Saturday!) - that isn't him.It is my understanding that he writes a personal letter to the family of every soldier who has been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, whether by enemy action or accident. I know when he went to an army post a few weeks ago, he did meet, privately, with some families of soldiers who had died. I don't believe he would EVER presume to attend a soldier's funeral and impose himself on a family's private grief.
The Democrats are a slimy bunch to use grieving families as a weapon against the President.

I think God's hand is definitely on The Passion. And even if it doesn't lead one person in the world to accept the Gospel, if it inspires those who are already believers to a new depth and strength in their faith, it will have served a most worthy and much-needed purpose. I am praying that it will be an instrument of great revival throughout our land and the world.

I should like to see this "Bush hasn't attended any military funerals" issue put to rest as I believe it is entirely manufactured to make him look weak on a point that is ludicrous. I don't recall any prior president being insulted with the charge. If a US President attended ONE war time military funeral, how could he justify not attending them ALL? And if he attended them all, how on God's green earth would he get his job done?
I believe the media are slinging this at him because they know he cannot afford the time to go to all the funerals, which makes two fake points: it makes Bush look unconcerned; it hints that there would be so many funerals (quagmire, body bag alert) that the nation would not tolerate it.
So I hope this stinking issue dies a proper death, unmourned.

Hey chickie, you obviously blew right by JimRob's warning at the front door,
"Most of the visitors to the Free Republic web site are attracted to our very popular (and, warning: addictive) conservative forum ... "
right along with all the rest of us.
Now you have to deal with this thing being stuck in your brain 24/7.
Is there good news, as in, does it grow less addictive with time? I cannot personally offer you any hope in that quarter (member since 1998). You just have to pull the tubes out (disconnect) and walk away from time to time, hopefully without the following result.

If I hadn't pressured and insisted that he go see a flight surgeon, he'd still be at Anaconda. Excellent work, mystery.
