Is March depressing, or is it just me?

And don't any body answer "Both"! But it is both. Just as her cookie chomping and mopping is something that "women do" and it is also disgustingly self-indulgent.
Now here is where the idea of balance comes in. You do it for a couple of hours on a weekend and no problem. You do it day in and day out and it doesn't matter if you are male or female. You are on your way to being a pig.

Whine...whine....whine....that's what's wrong with America....we've got it sooo good, all we can really do is find something to whine about. Sheesh. (And, the Dems are the ultimate in whiners!)

Yes, this is my production. I based it on Albrecht Durer's engraving, "Melancholia I." It's the kind of thing that virtually everyone can relate to--but don't think I'm morose by nature, because I'm definitely not!
The Eliot piece fits pretty well, too. He's pretty tough, because you've almost got to be a world literature expert (in all kinds of languages) to understand him!

Here in southcentral Pennsylvania, it's still winter and will be so for several more weeks.
Regardless of what the calendar *says*, snow and ice are are very real possibility until almost April 20th, our last frost date in USDA Zone 6b. Being a large nursery owner, I watch weather trends, follow computer models and regional weather reports everyday.
I don't consider winter depressing, and I only get *depressed* if I miss the local Girl Scout/ Brownie troops when they sell the Thin Mints at some of the local gas stations. Got mine this year! Those and the peanut butter cookies are yummy.
