There are three groups at the center of the tightknit confederation of Democratic entities:

America Coming Together or ACT, MoveOn.org and the Media Fund. A fourth group, Joint Victory Campaign 2004, serves as joint fund-raising group for ACT and the Media Fund. ost of the groups' advertising will be handled by the Media Fund, which had raised $3 million as of the latest reports.

The fund's president is Harold Ickes, a leading Democratic operative who served as deputy White House chief of staff under President Clinton. MoveOn.org, which will share some of the burden for TV advertising, is led by Zack Exley, a former union organizer and Web activist from Boston.

In reports released last week, the group showed receipts of almost $4.8 million.

The leadership of ACT, set up to oversee get-out-the-vote efforts, includes Steve Rosenthal, a former political director for the AFL-CIO, and Minyon Moore, a former chief of operations for the Democratic National Committee. ACT has raised $12.5 million.

After all is said and done, PresBush only has himself to blame for signing CFR into law, thus allowing the librat establishment to take advantage of loopholes in political advertising regulations.

All Conservatives knew or should have known that Democrats were planning an end run around this from the beginning.

Conservatives were stupid for supporting this bill.

As usual, Republicans would obey the law and Dems never intended to. They used the reform to give themselves a political leg up.

This is clearly a 1st Ammendment issue. Shame on Conservatives and U.S. judges for ever allowing it to pass and not striking it down as lunacy after it was signed by W.

The Constitution is a rag to Liberals---to be honored whenever it seems to supoort their wills and to be abrogated whenever it thwarts their perverted desires.

Gack!

They're not allowed to coordinate their ad campaigns .. just how on earth can you stop them from doing that .. and the rules for the 527's say they cannot be against a candidate .. which MoveOn.org's clearly state they are.

WHERE IS THE FEC ON THIS AND WHY AREN'T THEY DOING ANYTHING TO STOP THIS ..??
